I had these speakers install in my 2010 Ford F150. (the factory speakers ,"just weren't doing the job for me.") The highs, midrange, and low are perfect. I would recommend these for replacement speakers over the factory speakers that came with my truck.

I recently installed six of these speakers in my Econoline conversion van as part of an upgrade to the factory stereo that includes a Kenwood head unit and Boss powered subwoofer. I use this van on long trips an enjoy some nice tunes to get me through the miles. I was attracted to these by the price--$39/pair and free delivery and the reviews I saw on this and other sites. I needed three pairs for this van--two front and four rears--so price was a big factor.

I've done about six speaker upgrades in the last decade or so on my cars/vans and my kids' cars, using Alpine, Polk, Pioneer, Infinity and probably some other brands of speakers. The install of these was straight forward and fairly simple--remove the old, cut/strip/solder the wires, shrink wrap and screw the new speakers right in. Took a couple hours, but a good 45 minutes of that was determining and double checking the polarity on the speaker wires.

Unfortunetely, with the new head unit already installed I found these speakers very disappointing, only marginally better than the stock/OEM paper coned speakers I didn't hesitate to landfill. They distort at fairly low volume levels and the highs Hz are muted no matter what the settings on the head unit. I even tried disconnecting the second set of rear speakers but there was no noticable improvement. They do better on the low notes, but not by much. It's hard to believe anyone would rate these 4 or 5 stars.

These speakers sound excellent inside a 2010 for ranger. The full sound fills the cab with theater type sound.
